Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ExplainTheHack, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Description of service

ExplainTheHack is an educational platform that teaches offensive security concepts and interview communication skills. It provides lessons, quizzes, flashcards, briefs, learning tracks, and attack path walkthroughs.

ExplainTheHack is a study and communication tool, not a hacking tool. It does not provide live labs, exploit sandboxes, access to computer systems, or authorization to test any systems. All content is for educational and professional development purposes only.

No guarantee of results

ExplainTheHack does not guarantee any particular outcome from using the platform. We do not guarantee that you will pass any certification exam, secure employment, succeed in interviews, or achieve any specific professional result. Your outcomes depend on your own effort, experience, and circumstances.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use the knowledge gained from this platform. You agree to use ExplainTheHack content only for lawful purposes, including personal study, professional development, and authorized security testing. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Payments and subscriptions

Premium access requires a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information directly. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Intellectual property

ExplainTheHack™ and all related content, including lessons, quizzes, flashcards, briefs, attack paths, and the overall platform structure, are the exclusive property of Aleluya Technologies LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use the content for personal study and professional development only.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, mirror, resell, republish, or create derivative works from any ExplainTheHack content without prior written permission from Aleluya Technologies LLC. This includes but is not limited to sharing premium content publicly, repackaging content for courses or training materials, and automated scraping or bulk downloading.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Redistribute, resell, or republish any content
  • Use automated systems to scrape or bulk-download content
  • Use the platform to plan or execute unauthorized attacks against any system
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any access controls
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ExplainTheHack at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

ExplainTheHack is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for any particular purpose, certification, or employment outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExplainTheHack and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Florida.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
